-Crutcher as an author deals with the underdog.
-As Mrs. Konzelmann said, he "makes you feel their pain."
-Mrs. Hoffman told the group that Crutcher "tends to lean towards boys" when he writes his stories. He also separates the jocks from the nerds.
Marcus James the story
-Many of those who read the story weren't dragged into the story, and didn't like his writing style.
-The plot as a whole was really interesting.
-A good deal of the group liked the character Matt Miller and felt he should have had his own story, as to why he did the things he did.
-It was also mentioned that it looked like the whole town was against Marcus in the story.
