SPEAK WINS THE VOTE!

I hope everyone is having an enjoyable week! The votes are in and Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson is the winner! I hope everyone will enjoy this book. I can't wait to read it myself. We just ordered two copies for the West Paterson library, Little Falls has a copy, and I recall Mrs. Krautheim saying that Totowa also has it available on Audiobook. I'm not sure if there are copies in the PV Library; please check with Mrs. Konzelmann. We can also get copies from other libraries in the Pals Plus Consortium.

Also, if anyone is having trouble signing up on the blog, please e-mail me.

Have a great day!

Mrs. Hoffman

Patricia Neal: An Unquiet Life is an awesome biography! It tells the story of an actress whose life was or rather is just like a Soap Opera. You can get an autographed copy at a Clifton Barnes&Noble. It's autographed by the author. Ms. Neal couldn't make it the day the author had the book signing. Hopefully the autographed ones aren't sold out.

I finished Speak! And, it was so awesome!! :] I can't wait till the next TAG meeting!

Just a question. can we bring our own books to vote on after discussing Speak? I have an really interesting one that I think everyone will love! :)

Thanks for the tip about the Patricia Neal biography, Monica!I can remember her in movies when I was your age. I can't wait until our next meeting as well. Definitely bring your own, books, ideas, etc. to the next TAG meeting! Also, please use the blog as often as you like to comment on the current book we're reading or other books you are reading as well and pass the word to other club members to join in...the more the merrier!

Monica and everybody else,
Please do bring books to the next TAG meeting. It's your bookclub, and we want you to select the books.
